Swirls Don’t Stand a Chance

Let Us Fix and Enhance Your Vehicle’s Paintwork In Exponential Ways!

There is no telling when a surface defect may afflict your exterior paintwork. Light scratches can happen in a crowded parking lot, swirl marks start to accumulate after a few bad hand washes, and even if you safely store your ride in a garage, it is still prone to discrepancies caused by falling rakes or bicycle handlebars. Whether your defects have been inflicted by something abrasive or caused by environmental effects that stain your paint, OCD can remove these issues!

When something unfortunate and unpredictable happens to your paintwork, our paint correction packages are designed to undo these aggravating occurrences to get you back on the road with a flawless vehicle finish. Even if you think your surfaces are completely clear, a LED shop light often reveals this not to be true whatsoever.

Spending years training on the safest and most effective paint correction efforts, our auto restoration team at OCD can remove even the toughest defects while adding a tremendously deep gloss to your finish via buffing and polishing. We appreciate that no two vehicles are the same, so the time it takes to correct and enhance your paintwork always varies, unique to what you drive.

What Drivers Usually Ask

Paint Correction Questions and Answers

  • Does paint correction noticeably enhance my finish?

If you have noticeable defects, this question may answer itself. But what if you glance at your paint and feel that it is completely flawless; can paint correction make it look noticeably different? Yes, absolutely! Paint correction actually enhances your finish via buffing and polishing, which develops a deep gloss that does not commonly exist with your factory clear coat.

  • What is the difference between cutting and polishing?

Cutting has two varying steps: Heavy cutting and medium cutting. This part of the paint correction process here at OCD is where defect removal happens by way of safely leveling the areas around a defect down to even everything off. Polishing is a finish stage where your finish is enhanced by way of clearing any residue from cutting and compounds.

  • Should I coat my corrected paint with a ceramic coating or a paint protection film?

Both can help! A ceramic coating by our installation team here at OCD is highly hydrophobic, further helping your finish look better than ever before, while a paint protection film - also known as a clear bra - is a self-healing film that resists future defects. Both provide a sacrificial layer between future defects and your pristine paintwork.

  • When can a defect be too deep?

There are certain defects that call for a repaint of an automobile, as opposed to paint correction packages that are offered here at OCD. We determine prior to paint correction what can be corrected and what are actual issues that must be repainted.
